Program Manager, Recruiting Operations (English, Portuguese)

  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently in order to liase with internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Program Management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive audiences to convey information clearly and succinctly through presentations, written communications, and verbal articulation.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Recruiting operations and projects, like our clients and partners, span the globe and require specialists to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager, Recruiting Operations, you will drive the operations for the CALA Recruiting Team while working on multidisciplinary projects to enable our recruiting organization to meet its business objectives. You keep the organization focused on balance and efficiency and plan requirements with internal partners to usher initiatives through their entire project life-cycles. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to stakeholders. Your responsibilities and projects often span offices and time zones, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on progress and deadlines. You identify and lead changes necessary to achieve goals, and act as a problem-solving agent. You will interact on a regular basis with Googlers of all levels and disciplines and will contribute to the strengthening of the organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and drive the operations for the CALA Recruiting Team, drawing out insights and working directly with Recruiting leadership on strategies to drive efficiencies, while creating and tracking against clear success metrics.
  • Help define the performance metrics and goals we track internally. Develop clear communication frameworks with key partners. Partner effectively within the broader Recruiting team to ensure best practices are being shared, while being a strong contributor to the broader community.
  • Translate data into actionable insights by analyzing quantitative and qualitative information to identify staffing performance trends. Lead operational, and organizational initiatives to handle long-term opportunities and challenges, partnering with the Program Manager for broader implementation.
  • Drive project goals and execution across stakeholders, encompassing business case, scope, timelines, risks, and issues to achieve innovation and operational excellence.
