Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Network, Program Management Office

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience driving transformational initiatives within a program management or operations function.
  • Experience leading process and tooling changes and driving cross-functional alignment to PMO governance and best practices.
  • Experience in a software engineering, network engineering, or IT infrastructure environment.
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences, representing PMO performance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PRINCE2, or other PM related certifications.
  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Strong systems thinking approach, including an understanding of the interplay between different components of program execution.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis, transforming complex reports into actionable insights for metric-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to successfully lead large complex programs at a global level involving many cross-functional IT operational teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify and solve complex business problems—such as increasing development velocity or cost optimization by directly designing and rolling out processes, automated workflows, and standardized playbooks across the organization.
  • Partner with  Google Enterprise Network (GEN) leadership to synchronize multi-year roadmaps and translate high-level business objectives into executable frameworks that respect functional swim lanes.
  • Lead the re-imagining and re-engineering of core T/PgM processes, standards and tools, potentially impacting areas like the GEN PLC, project reporting, TaskFlow usage, and governance frameworks.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of transformation efforts, transforming complex data into actionable insights.
  • Serve as the organizational expert for TaskFlow/Buganizer (or equivalent systems), directly configuring and optimizing tooling to ensure predictable outcomes, rigorous milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
