Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 20 years of general management experience in Tech, Media, or B2B platforms, working with enterprise partners, agencies, or brands.
  • 10 years of experience leading a team (including managing managers) within an organization in an online or technology business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, JD, or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and go-to-market teams to influence product roadmaps based on enterprise market feedback.
  • Understanding of the evolving creator economy, social commerce trends, and the intersection of traditional media and digital platforms.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys to negotiate complex, strategic agreements.

About the job

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for defining the strategy for how YouTube Americas partners with enterprise-level organizations to accelerate creator ecosystem growth. You will oversee a complex B2B portfolio including influencer marketing agencies (IMAs), talent agencies, creator service providers (CSPs), gaming publishers, and podcast networks. You will be an excellent people leader who leads and influences through partnership with cross-functional teams and direct oversight of a team of executive managers.

In this role, you will bring expertise in YouTube’s products and partners' businesses, capable of building deep, trust-based relationships with C-level executives from our enterprise partners. You will also act as the "Chief Advocate" for the platform externally, bridging the gap between brands and creators to accelerate the flywheel of creator advertising dollars.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $320,000-$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead YouTube’s US strategy and execution for enterprise partnerships, balancing the unique needs of different partner types. 
  • Cultivate and sustain deep, trust-based partnerships with executive-level leaders at key industry players. Serve as the primary executive point of contact for external partners, navigating complex organizational structures to unlock high-impact collaborations.
  • Partner closely with Google’s Global Business Organization and marketing agencies to enable the brand agreement ecosystem’s growth. 
  • Drive industry-leading thought leadership on emerging trends such as "brands as creators," social commerce, and the strategic, responsible usage of AI creation tools.
  • Act as a critical change agent across the broader organization. Channel market feedback and partner insights to internal Product, Go-To-Market, and Policy teams to shape future product roadmaps, service models, and segmentation strategies.
