Go-To-Market Strategy and Planning Lead, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking,venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting or internal corporate strategy teams.
  • Experience in developing/leading GTM strategy and leading programs and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and presenting business strategies to C-level executives, while being able to engage and communicate effectively with global and regional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment with limited direction, manage competing priorities, and several time-sensitive projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent grounding in data skills with practical experience working with analytical toolsets.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will drive the overall GTM strategy and lead the planning process for Google Cloud in the Asia Pacific region including working with global and regional cross-functional teams to drive the annual planning cycle - from driving and influencing GTM outcomes, to implementing planning. You will also work with the leadership in actively working on regional GTM strategic initiatives and help support these through a data driven business case with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual planning processes GTM, Territory Planning, Quota, cross-regional moves, Global Accounts and roll out of compensation letters.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to decision making and drive understanding of fast growing business.
  • Define the short and long-term goal and trajectory for the business by partnering with Sales leadership, Finance, Compensation and cross-functional operations teams.
  • Engage in dive analysis to understand business performance, and provide concise summaries and recommendations to management.
  • Develop insights about market and landscape by leveraging sources including APAC business performance data, market data, and analyst reports.
