Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience managing complex partnerships and an ability to work autonomously.
- Understanding and interest in the mobile operator world and related technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a changing environment.
- Excellent cross-functional and collaboration skills, enabling you to identify opportunities and drive action with both technical and business teams internally and with partners externally.
- Excellent investigative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

In this role, you will co-own and drive a set of prioritized business development (BD) initiatives to drive our user acquisition and business generation efforts. You will be working with our most strategic Carrier partners and other third party ecosystem partners to build upon existing partnership foundations while seeking out new business opportunities.
You will have the opportunity to be the primary point of contact for our projects and partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), Finance, and Legal alignment. You will be working with our counterparts to identify opportunities, work through hurdles to come to mutually beneficial solutions, and manage some of the aspects of the relationship from beginning to end in an effort to build successful, long-term partnerships.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage strategic partnerships with entities of all sizes.
- Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across rapidly changing industries.
- Ideate and drive deals with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
- Serve as the Relationship Manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building effective long-term relationships.
- Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
