Senior Technical Program Manager, Supply Chain Operations Fulfillment

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 7 years of experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Spares Planning, Service Parts Logistics, or Inventory Optimization within an operational environment.
  • 5 years of experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP) for materials management, and data analysis tools including SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to translate investigative findings into clear recommendations for non-technical executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent advanced investigative thinking and structured problem solving skills (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma) to optimize supply chain issues.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The mission of the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) team is to build a supply chain as intelligent, and resilient as the cloud itself, connecting innovation to execution by fostering trusted global partnerships, accelerating time-to-market, and enabling the hardware foundation that delivers Google’s compute, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and edge capabilities closer to every user. In support of this mission, Google Cloud is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee a critical vendor/System Integrator (SI) engagement for GDC's air-gapped solutions, orchestrating the end-to-end SI partnership lifecycle from supply planning and manufacturing to compliance and final deployment to ensure seamless delivery, drive efficiency and quality, and achieve high customer satisfaction.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Implement Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) to balance service levels with minimizing spare parts carrying costs.
  • Manage the end-to-end Lifecycle Plan for spare parts, from initial provisioning to retirement, mitigating Excess and obsolescence (E and O) inventory risk.
  • Generate highly accurate spare parts demand forecasts using advanced statistical models and predictive maintenance data.
  • Lead sourcing and global logistics for critical, high-value spare parts to ensure supply continuity and optimize the distribution network.
  • Act as the cross-functional liaison (Engineering, Finance) to align strategy, own Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data integrity, and provide executive performance reports.
