  • 8 years of leadership experience in material supply chain management and processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering or MBA, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with L6, L10, and L11 manufacturing.
  • Experience in leadership with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, and supply chain design.
  • Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly and test processes, and project requirements.

As a Program Manager, you will focus on improving processes for new product launches, specifically for hardware. You will need to be an expert in hardware supply chains, with experience in developing and scaling new processes with manufacturers. You will also need an understanding of the tools and techniques used to manufacture infrastructure and server products. Subject matter expert in hardware manufacturing operations to revolutionize Google Cloud's New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. You will be the driving behind initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams to optimize operational excellence, accelerate time-to-market, enhance cost-effectiveness, and bolster product resilience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hardware teams to streamline and optimize existing New Product Introduction processes across Google's Cloud Supply Chain, ensuring smooth and efficient product launches.
  • Guide program teams, define objectives, and facilitate collaborative sessions to achieve tangible improvements in NPI operations and supply chain management.
  • Define and advocate goals across multiple teams, navigating ambiguity and complexity to deliver results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems, enhancing risk management, resilience, and cost-effectiveness across the NPI portfolio. This includes collaborating with supply chain and engineering teams to adapt to evolving manufacturing needs and industry standards.
