Global Group Strategy Manager, YouTube Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 6 years of experience in people management.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in driving large-scale strategies at media or technology companies.
  • Experience in slide-building and narrative development, with the ability to present complex problems in a simple manner.
  • Ability to be a thought partner with executives and drive decision-making across executive teams.

About the job

As the Global Group Strategy Manager, you will act as a primary strategic thought partner for executives across YouTube marketing and with cross-functional business stakeholders. You will shape the business narrative for YouTube marketing and work closely across teams and functions with executives on special strategic projects that ensure YouTube marketing stay ahead of the curve. You will also translate complex insights into actionable recommendations and change management strategies, lead a global team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the organization's annual business planning, in close partnership with the strategic operations team, and deliver strategic projects.

In addition, you will identify business problems and craft innovative solutions that impact the future direction of YouTube Marketing. As a global team lead, you will ensure a high accuracy across the team, making significant contributions to our culture and operating environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $219,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary thought partner for marketing executives, delivering marketing and business strategies that ensure YouTube marketing can reach its business objectives.
  • Deliver YouTube marketing annual planning in partnership with the strategic operations lead and high-priority special projects on behalf of the CMO and executive team.
  • Lead and coach a global team of strategy and operations professionals, organizing workstreams and holding team members accountable for high-impact results.
