Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing electronic security systems, specifically access control, badging credential technology, identity, and Privileged Access Management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with deploying and managing high-security electronic security systems across global locations.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple security systems projects with resources and priorities.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technology in the areas of cloud-based platforms, AI/ML applications, and high-assurance authentication.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will sustain the electronic security and safety systems in our fast-growing data center fleet as an innovative and organized Technical Program Manager. You will drive the integration of security technologies and lead global programs to update and manage systems to meet strict security and compliance requirements. You will utilize organizational and planning skills to ensure our fleet is operating at peak performance, leveraging data to maximize value in protecting users and people.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deploy Identity and Access Management tools by building and sustaining teams and processes, ensuring high availability and efficacy of business operations while supporting data center locations with secure identity processes.
  • Execute physical security technology projects with internal clients and cross-functional partners, focusing on scalable growth, automation, and optimizing business outcomes.
  • Establish cross-functional relationships with internal technology teams and security operations to design and operate next-level physical security systems, including the evaluation and integration of third-party technology solutions.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to evaluate solution efficacy, working with training and operations teams to enhance tools based on clear performance indicators and data-driven status reporting.
