Administrative Business Partner, Cloud Office of the CTO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of administrative experience in a technology or international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).
  • Experience supporting an organization and direct management of weekly team meetings, including agenda ownership and content preparation.
  • Experience serving as a technical lead and manager for projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in executive event management.
  • Knowledge of process, project and program management theory and practices, with the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.
  • Ability to act as a focal point of contact for other departments and external suppliers, managing confidential information as necessary.
  • Ability to build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use effective acumen with decision making.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.

You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

  • Manage priorities, leading multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently, and being able to manage expectations in a thoughtful way.
  • Adapt quickly to changing demands, executive styles and embrace ambiguity.
  • Build relationships across teams and foster trust. Collaborate and grow in a team environment. Cultivate relationships with E/ABPs across Alphabet, building a strong network to enable easier collaboration.
