Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in software engineering.
- 10 years of experience in AI/ML research and development.
- Experience with development and creation of AI technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in scaling high-leverage, small teams while effectively collaborating with a broad set of organizations.
- Leadership experience in driving technically complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple high-priority projects.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML systems and innovations in the context of edge computing and devices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and align teams across the organization.
- Ability to develop and execute a long-term innovation roadmap, balancing short-term objectives with future technology development.

The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. - Lead a technically complex, cross-functional environment, drive collaboration and AI impact across multiple high-priority projects and key organizations across the company.
- Navigate ambiguity and foster partnerships in an intricate collaboration landscape.
- Drive research breakthroughs that will have a profound impact across numerous P&D product teams.
