Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within B2C or B2B sales.
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple high-stakes partners.
  • Experience in identifying, creating, negotiating, and implementing business agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer electronics with or as a retailer.
  • Experience with vendor management, marketing or sales in e-commerce channels.
  • Experience in a hardware company or a retailer in account management, buying, go-to-market, channel management or channel marketing.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level and to successfully launch new products in the market.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems, and scale effectively across a large organization.
  • Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills, and ability to distill complex data into meaningful and coherent stories.

The Devices & Services Partnerships team is responsible for maximizing the adoption of Google's hardware products by developing and executing consumer go-to-market strategies with retailers and carriers worldwide. Specifically, the Hardware Partnerships team manages all global partnerships for our Google-branded hardware portfolio, including products such as Google Nest Hub, Google Nest Mini, Google Nest Hub Max, Chromecast, and Google Nest WiFi. Our goal is to bring the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users.

As a partner manager you will be responsible for go-to-market planning for your accounts including discussing agreemtns, forecasting, and planning marketing and merchandising solutions. You will also collaborate with channel management, product planning, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, and compliance teams in order to plan sales for our clients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new product introduction for our client(s), ad manage, track, and report retail readiness. Help develop and conduct product presentations for retail and external partners.
  • Generate and manage promotional/pricing strategy. Develop analysis to support plans, manage budgets, and drive volumes to goals.
  • Build relationships with key partners and discuss on joint promotion activities and retail activation.
  • Report on performance, competitive activities, and market dynamics. Adjust strategy where needed based upon business conditions.
  • Design end of life and product transition strategies.
