Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in real estate space planning.
- Experience in analyzing data to derive business insights.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of real estate planning (both strategic and tactical).
- Ability to be a thought leader.
- Ability to be self driven and motivated to execute and see initiatives and projects through to completion.
- Excellent investigative, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and performing priorities.

Our Real Estate Analysis team supports the development and implementation of our global, strategic real estate plan to deliver timely solutions to meet the needs of our growing company. As a Strategic Planner on this team, you will be a data-cruncher that makes effective business decisions. You will plan the future of Google's physical expansion as you forecast and plan scenarios to help develop, drive and monitor the success of real estate decisions. You have a full and complete understanding and headcount growth and space requirements, ready to identify, track down and resolve data quality issues with a vengeance. You have an uncanny ability to see beyond the numbers. You are a highly analytical individual with strong influencing and negotiating skills.As a Campus Planner you will be a part of the Campus Planning Center of Excellence. This team supports the development and implementation of our global, strategic real estate plans to meet the complex needs of Google’s businesses in the Americas regions .
In this role, you will be a highly investigative individual who can influence, negotiate, and communicate space solutions that optimize the workplace experience for our Googlers. You will use data, investigative insights, and problem-solving skills to develop and present multiple space scenarios to all levels of stakeholders. You will lead and collaborate on the creation of standards to align global strategic space planning processes and will partner across teams to establish a “Plan of Record” across the region.The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can grow.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Plans of Records across the Americas– synthesize long term business requirements, and portfolio data to recommend solutions that enable business objectives at a global level.
- Maintain strong relationships with Business Partner teams and other Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) stakeholders to understand product area focus, organizational plans, growth goals, and business objectives.
- Formulate strategic space scenarios and negotiate solutions with team members and stakeholders to ensure balanced planning that satisfies business requirements while minimizing portfolio risks.
- Forecast, conceptualize, and evaluate multiple scenarios, ensure that teams and leadership are well informed and aligned.
- Maintain space planning and portfolio reporting, metrics, and KPIs. Support the implementation of space planning programs and initiatives.
