Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- 2 years of experience managing or leading teams.
- Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Experience influencing multiple levels including executive leadership team, peers, managers and broader team. Ability to flex communications and influence across levels and teams.
- Experience managing and partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams.
- Ability to perform end-to-end analysis with limited direction (e.g. find drivers of unknown underperformance of a product/segment).
- Project management, planning skills, and ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
- Excellent problem solving, analysis skills and impeccable business judgment. Comfort with data modeling, reporting and strong communication skills.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.
Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.
In this role, you will shape the strategic direction and business model for Google’s cross-product subscription offering, bring operational prowess to the team through business analytics, and drive cross-PA alignment.
Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of individuals; set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Build a Google One-wide strategic narrative on product positioning and core features as well on emerging market trends.
- Manage key communications and status reporting of critical cross-PA programs and initiatives, across all levels of the organization, cross-functionally and cross-PA.
- Envision, build, and lead operational processes and practices that drive excellence, accountability, and efficiency for our leadership team and organization at scale.
- Serve as a proxy for our leadership team, as appropriate, representing Google One in critical cross-Google forums. From inception to completion, lead cross-PA initiatives on critical projects to drive alignment and increase velocity, and manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
