Minimum qualifications:

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

As a leading data center operator and an innovator of construction and design, Google needs to be nimble enough to construct data centers quickly and integrate new products seamlessly to meet demand. The Technical Program Management (TPM) team for Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) plays a critical role in achieving this by ensuring the smooth introduction, lifecycle management, and ongoing delivery of critical equipment used in data center construction.

In this role, you will lead a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for the successful introduction, lifecycle management, and ongoing delivery of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) products to Google's data centers. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that OFE products meet performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets throughout their lifecycle

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Technical Program Managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment while providing mentorship and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple concurrent NPI programs for OFE products, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product introduction and delivery.
  • Ensure robust supply chain strategies and ramp readiness activities are in place with internal teams and external partners, managing product transitions from development to production.
