Regional Strategy and Operations Lead, Revenue Strategy and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience delivering quality outputs in a fast-paced environment while working with tight deadlines and contributing to a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding how to identify key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics from data.
  • Understanding the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) segment and its needs and challenges.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing demands of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate insights to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

About the job

The Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) organization in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The EMEA RSO team partners with the EMEA GCS Business leaders on future strategy, project managing the business process and the improvement of core business systems and infrastructure. We also work closely with the Global Sales Analytics and Solutions (SAS) team, Marketing and the other cross-functional GCS Leaders to define the path to sustainable GCS growth.

As a Regional Program Manager, you will work in collaboration with the Global Programs team and the Regional executive sponsor to shape, launch and land program changes in EMEA GCS. You will coordinate smooth quarterly operations, working with central teams to ensure managers are trained appropriately on the required steps and timelines. You will manage the engagement with sales representatiives and managers, gathering sales insights into what is working in the Program in EMEA and what improvements are needed. You will use those sales insights and data to develop a forward looking strategy to drive program performance in the region.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Drive EMEA wide strategic initiatives to support executive leadership, managers and sellers to grow SMB business and product footprint.
  • Be a thought partner to the Vice President (VP) of Google Customer Solutions (GCS) EMEA and leadership team, including cross-functional engagement with key large customers and product, partnership, marketing teams, etc.
  • Build a strong network with sales team members, across all levels, to capture seller and customer feedback to develop a high functioning sales organization.
