Strategic Partnerships Manager, YouTube Product Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in connected TV platforms and the consumer electronics hardware industry.
  • Experience deploying or distributing Over-the-Top (OTT) video applications on consumer electronic devices.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in developing customized term sheets, work with legal agreements, and present distilled agreement issues to senior management.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Experience working in a fluid and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, assess business benefits, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Fluid, dynamic, and proactive, the YouTube Partner Development and Services team provides seamless help to our partners, creators, and artists on YouTube, ensuring an exceptional experience for all YouTube users.

As part of the Living Room Product Partnerships (LRPP) team, you will be responsible for representing the LRPP in all relevant Product and Engineering forums, communicating key strategies, impending decisions, and their potential impact to and from Cross-functional teams. You will be a primary point-of-contact with global Strategic Partner Managers (SPMs), representing their partner initiatives across the YouTube Product, Engineering, and Partner Engineering organizations. This position requires an understanding of the connected TV/streaming platform landscape, knowledge of product integration, thought leadership, influencing skills, research and problem-solving skills, execution, and a passion for working in the fluid area of connected TV content services. You will know how to assess partnership opportunities, define a strategy, and work with product managers, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to deliver partnerships that help the business grow and evolve.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage partnerships with entities.
  • Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and build Go-to-Market strategies to meet broader Google goals across industries.
  • Ideate and drive complex agreements with partners and renewals for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
  • Serve as the relationship manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize value from these partnerships while building relationships.
  • Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
