Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineering-related occupation.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineering-related occupation.
- Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:
Technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment
Systems hardening
Design of scalable security solutions
Offensive security and penetration testing
Code development in one or more general-purpose languages

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $223,150 - $255,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls, tools, and processes required to solve complex or difficult security problems.
- Evaluate sophisticated and interconnected systems to identify threats, contextualize risk, and communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
- Drive mitigation and remediation efforts that address systemic security issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the security engineering roadmap and own the strategic vision for your designated technical problem space.
- Operate information security systems, respond to advanced threats, and serve as the ultimate escalation point for junior engineers. Provide technical leadership and mentorship for a small group of engineers and participate in hiring activities.
