Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java or Kotlin codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in designing and building large-scale cloud technologies and web applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with serverless architectures or AI/ML integration.

Today, Cloud Run has become a go-to destination for serving AI models and hosting AI-powered applications. It offers the simplest path to deploy inference workloads and AI-generated code, placing us at the forefront of the industry's most exciting technological shift.
Cloud Run UI plays a critical role in this ecosystem. We provide the cockpit for our users delivering an enhanced, developer experience that abstracts away complexity and drives seamless cross-product integrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex features for the Cloud Run console, making Google Cloud intuitive and powerful for our users.
- Write high-quality, scalable code using Kotlin and TypeScript. Contribute to a modern codebase as the team actively transitions services from Java to Kotlin.
- Partner deeply with user experience designers, researchers, and product managers to define product direction and implement an excellent user experience.
- Collaborate with API and backend teams to ensure seamless integration, high scalability, and performance of the UI platform.
- Take ownership of critical technical solutions from concept to launch. Mentor junior engineers, drive engineering excellence, and foster a culture of innovation.
