Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in client management and business or a related role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local stakeholders and clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in partner/client relationship-building, with the ability to engage and negotiate with new partners/clients.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the job

In this role, you'll provide creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for both web and app publishers and developers and identify new opportunities. You will provide client service, research, and market analysis, you will also problem-solve, using relevant Google and third-party data to develop a strategic perspective on customer focused insights and solutions. You will anticipate how decisions are made, explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and showcase how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you will set the direction and strategy for how their monetization strategy impacts their business and their users. You will work with developers and be a trusted partner who will help them grow their businesses. You will work on engagement style across a variety of customers and cross-functional to set shared objectives, create open communication, build partnerships, and balance own interests to drive an impact while sharing best practices.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the medium-sized portfolio of publishers at scale, adding value to our partners' business by proposing the optimal Google monetization solution. 
  • Engage with partners in virtual and in-person interactions, helping shape their long-term vision while executing daily operations to accelerate their business growth.
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with B-C level stakeholders within the organizations of our partners.
  • Provide a dependable and responsive service to our partners, focusing on partners needs for mutual benefit.
  • Cross-promote new products, features or solutions, and advocate industry trends and best practices that will have a positive impact on partners' business growth or pivot via both 1:1 and 1:many scalable marketing approaches like webinar, seminar and so on.
