Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals, resists, slurries, and gas tanks, etc.) and relevant safety regulations.
- 3 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain in the semiconductor industry.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekdays/weekends; specific shifts will be discussed during the hiring process.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of inventory management experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in III-V compound semiconductor wafer fabrication.
- Experience with import/export regulations, compliance, and international logistics and supply chain.
- Experience applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize inventory management.

As an Inventory Manufacturing Engineer, you will manage and optimize inventory of critical materials, including wafers, chemicals, gas tanks, equipment spare parts, and other essential supplies. You will ensure the smooth operation of development and manufacturing efforts. You will have a deep understanding of inventory management principles, strong investigative and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.Responsibilities
- Organize our inventory of critical materials; wafers, chemicals, gas tanks, equipment spare parts, and essential fab supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and tools.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to understand material requirements, consumption rates, order times, and set up accurate inventory minimum/maximum. Report low inventory items to the team and flag issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of daily use materials to wafer fab. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations/ environmental guidelines for handling and storage of chemicals, gas tanks, and hazardous materials.
- Manage materials international shipping and receiving. Coordinate transportation providers ensuring prompt movement of shipments, respond to customer inquiries, make special shipping arrangements.Track and fix shipping errors.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to shipping/receiving inventory management and identify opportunities for optimization.
