Site Program Manager, Central Eastern Europe, Googler Experience (English, Romanian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Romanian fluently, to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively partner with, and influence, senior leaders (VPs and Directors) and cross-functional partners to deliver results.
  • Ability to solve open-ended problems and decide how to invest time and resources in the most efficient manner in order to meet goals and deadlines for program activities.
  • Excellent program management skills, with demonstrated success in developing and scaling programs.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive audiences to convey information clearly and succinctly through presentations, written communications, and verbal articulation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong judgment, with a high tolerance for ambiguity within a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of HR and Site Leaders by remaining informed about site-related issues and advising on site strategies, plans, operations, and governance.
  • Execute mission-first programs to address tests and opportunities at the site, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Define and streamline processes to manage programs of an ambiguous nature, involving cross-functional stakeholders and organizing tasks into clear goals and objectives, develop program plans and adjust as necessary to stay on track and achieve program goals.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams on site programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment between business, culture, and people. Influence teams to work toward common goals for the program and Google, partnering with decision-makers to ensure program timelines and objectives are feasible.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
