Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in data center infrastructure resource planning and cost of resources.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Familiarity with programming (Python, SQL, etc.), and with scripting or SQL-like language.
- Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly.

As a Technical Program Manager for Resource Management in YouTube, you will be ensuring efficient and effective operation of YouTube's infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include development and evaluation of capacity plans, collaborating with Engineering teams, partnering with Supply Chain teams, driving process improvements and infrastructure projects, and maintaining the health of YouTube's infrastructure footprint.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects by working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners. Analyze usage trends and partner with engineers to estimate and acquire resources for feature launches.
- Become a subject-matter-expert and consultant on technical and financial trade-offs in data-center resource management. Provide supply-chain and infrastructure teams with a rolling 18-month forecast that aligns to budget endorsements.
- Partner with YouTube resource management engineering to design and build tooling to help scale the planning process. Triage resource-requests to fund new launches, system-migrations, and infrastructure projects while maintaining appropriate supply buffers.
- Ideate efficiency opportunities to scale resources sublinear to demand growth and efficiency opportunities/ideas to reduce growth.
Manage reserves policy and processes to meet annual goals. Identify excess supply to divest to central infrastructure teams.
