Market HR Lead (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in HR in two of the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, business consulting, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, or employee relations.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support stakeholder management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in talent management, performance initiatives, development programs, change leadership, employee relations, and employment law.
  • Expertise in leading and implementing large-scale, global HR projects, including risk management, change management, and business readiness.
  • Ability to effectively partner with and influence all levels of leadership, including Vice Presidents, to drive organizational change and continuous improvement across diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups and drive collective impact and change through influence rather than authority.

As a Market HR Lead, you will advocate excellence, innovation, and inclusivity as we grow across diverse markets. We empower local teams to achieve impactful outcomes tailored to their region's unique needs, fostering a united leadership group and integrating function-specific people's plans. You will play a crucial role in building and leveraging partnerships across People Operations and business leaders in Mexico, ensuring that HR data insights are translated into effective country strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a localized HR plan aligned with Google's People Strategy, ensuring consistency and scale across all offices and addressing Mexico's unique needs.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and consultant to the Country Manager, site leaders, and internal/external stakeholders on all people-related matters.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and employee relations teams to proactively address potential risks and ensure adherence to Mexican labor laws and regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new HR solutions and services, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Promote Google's values and culture within the Mexican market, acting as an internal and external ambassador for the company.
