Partner Solution Architect, Google Cloud ( English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, including partner engineer, partner solution architect, solution architect, sales engineer, customer engineer, field application engineer and etc.
  • Experience in Cloud technology or solutions, either in a Cloud provider, or Cloud partner or client side working on Cloud related projects.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to support the client management in the Greater China market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in database management including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, and etc.
  • Experience with software life-cycle, build tools and architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience collaborating and supporting Cloud partners and enabling them to pitch Cloud products to clients.
  • Experience in web application development platforms and related technologies with the knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS), public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking and identity management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights in simplified, colloquial language.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. You will educate our partners on the power of Google Cloud and enable them to be successful in driving innovation to our customers.

As a Partner Solution Architect, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and previous experience in cloud platform and infrastructure products. You will bridge the gap between a customer’s needs and a Google Cloud partner’s ability to deliver on them. In this role, you will work closely with business development and sales managers to grow and support the Google Cloud partner ecosystem. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by assessing our partners’ technical expertise, connecting the customer with the right partner, and supporting partners as they execute practical and useful solutions. You will help prospective partners understand Google Cloud features, and align with the product marketing and engineering teams to recommend improvements to Google Cloud products.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
  • Own the technical relationship with partners, enabling them to manage product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work and coordinate additional technical resources. Keep partners up-to-date with product and technical knowledge and engage differentiators. Develop partners technical teams so that they can achieve goals.
  • Support partners in prototyping and demonstrating and product integrations in customer environments, and identifying and mitigating key customer technical objections. Work with partner technical representatives in opportunities and projects, complementing their skill and guaranteeing high quality customer deliverables.
  • Act as a technical POC within Google for our partners to help provide feedback from the field and advocate on their behalf.
  • Work with partner managers to identify and recruit suitable partners.
