Product Manager, Home Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management of infrastructure software, including logging, experiments, or analytics.
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and promote collaboration, including facilitating coordination across organizations.
  • Excellent technical understanding and ability to engage with engineers on product roadmap and systems design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clarity and precision in communication.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Define and ship consolidated a logging system that works across multiple product lines. Identify requirements and use cases, system characteristics.
  • Define and ship experimentation frameworks that work across multiple product lines deliver horizontal frameworks while ensuring that product-specific requirements are met. Identify experimentation journeys specify system characteristics and define requirements and success metrics.
  • Define and ship analytics backends that process data and turn it into useful insights identify user populations and requirements drive alignment on roadmap set product metrics.
  • Understand and represent the needs and priorities of users of these systems.
  • Communicate product roadmaps to the user community define and drive user engagement strategies to validate the roadmap and deliver value.
