ChromeOS Supply Chain Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in global supply chain management, agreement facilitation, and procurement.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • 3 years of experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams.
  • 3 years of experience working and partnering with supplier management at a global scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, sourcing, consulting, and collaboration skills.

About the job

In this role, you will manage ChromeOS Supply ecosystem partner relationships to ensure supply assurance and mitigate risks. You will be involved in leading communication on risk assessments and collaborating with stakeholders on supply/demand planning include optimizing partner supply, managing component transitions, and validating second source options.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$141,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead mitigation proposal communication to internal stakeholders and provide updates for any supply risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder for critical component supply/demand mapping and capacity planning. Facilitates ecosystem partners' supply optimization and manages critical component End of Life (EOL) transition.
  • Build and maintain the ChromeOS Supply Chain Intelligence database, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. 
  • Conduct analysis on critical components costs, lead times, specifications, and availability. 
  • Conduct technical roadshows to strengthen ecosystem collaboration, support engineering to explore new technologies availability on supply/cost and vendor engagement.
