Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in training and solving ambiguous problems.
  • Knowledge of Ads business across Google's product suite (e.g., Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Display, YouTube, Apps, Measurement, etc).
  • Ability to deliver the work in a changing, results-oriented project team environment and to drive impact on top strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and influence partner teams, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including story lining at the project level.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will be improving sellers experience by executing our Global Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and improving their ability to plan and pitch the next best action, and developing a competitive and customer-centric mindset to customer interactions. You will also support a more effective solutions workflow, working with cross-functional partners to deliver the best of Google Ads products to sellers and customers with clear process, roles and responsibilities.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop global Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to improve business workflows in support of the Global Business Organization's growth drivers and business plan with a focus on applications related to the planning, pitching, implementing and evaluating business lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Global Sales Activation, Global Product Solutions, Tools, and partner Go-to-Market organizations to drive cross-functional sponsorship and alignment.
  • Drive operational expertise related to strategy development and execution (e.g., project planning, milestones, pilots/success metrics, and governance).
  • Create clear written communications and presentations, tailored to audience levels, in support of strategic recommendations and implementation considerations.
  • Conduct analysis and research, both quantitative and qualitative in support of strategic recommendations.
