Data Transformation Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising business, digital media and marketing, or technical account management.
  • Experience working with Google's advertising, 1P data ingestion, tagging, or measurement products (e.g., within Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with large enterprise B2B software companies, advertisers, agencies, or customers in a consulting or technical account management capacity.
  • Experience in a technical role focused on implementation, technical support, or platform operations related to web/app infrastructure.
  • Ability to systematically evaluate and troubleshoot technical problems and see them through to resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a changing, collaborative cross-functional team environment, and to influence stakeholders to prioritize and accelerate action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to audiences of all levels.

As a Data Transformation Lead, you will be a technical specialist ensuring the ongoing operational excellence of Google’s ads measurement and data solutions for advertising clients. You will work in close partnership with a broader team of Data, Measurement and Analytics Specialists, you will also collaborate to define and accelerate a strategic approach to driving business growth for the advertiser and Google, through innovation and adoption of marketing technology and data solutions. You will act as a technical individual, with an understanding of Google’s advertising, data application, and measurement solutions, who thrives on problem-solving and ensuring the stability of complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the ongoing health and smooth operation of clients technical integrations with Google's advertising and measurement products. Proactively monitor systems and performance.
  • Support the team in designing and executing a technical roadmap to drive business growth, including project discovery and ownership, managing implementation projects to ensure efficient and quality delivery, while accounting for risks and product complexities.  
  • Act as a primary point of contact to contextualize points of concern and evaluate issue severity.  Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, bugs, and data discrepancies to ensure operational continuity for our clients.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to clients technical and marketing stakeholders on project progress, issue resolution status, and the performance of their technical setup.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform and influence Google's product development and process improvement.
