Senior Field Sales Representative, Automotive, Google Cloud (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience with field sales in the technology industry.
  • Experience developing Cloud or IT solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently at business level as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese and English with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or application software.
  • Experience in sales management within the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to travel 2-3 business trips per month (mainly domestic) .

As a Senior Field Sales Representative, you will lead our dedicated account team, with the specific focus to develop relationships across the company and continue the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with enterprise customers, influence strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage business cycle and present to corporate and global customers/executives.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to maximize business results in the territory and open up opportunities with large enterprise customers.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
