Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in compliance and information security.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with control frameworks, including risk assessment, compliance testing, monitoring, and governance.
- Experience with cloud security technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in the operationalization or development of scalable solutions and structure within an environment.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead efforts to drive down technology risk across Google Cloud. You will work with other security teams, product engineers, and business leaders to ensure a holistic approach to technology risk management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Cloud leadership for guidance on technology risk-related questions, such as identity and access management, change management, software development lifecycle, network security, data loss prevention, incident management, and vulnerability management.
- Work with engineering organizations to identify, develop, document, and test controls for design and operating effectiveness, in coordination with the Cloud CISO controls team.
- Establish and sustain relationships with Cloud CISO and Engineering stakeholders at operational and senior leadership levels, communicating risk and compliance topics and collaborating to improve risk management processes.
- Support the regulatory affairs and stakeholder engagement teams during audits and examinations, identify both qualitative and quantitative metrics that can be leveraged to measure effectiveness and drive improvements to the technology risk program.
