Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in information and technology compliance and audit programs for hardware or software in mission critical environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other related certifications.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in large-scale program management, change management, communication strategy and general program management.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time, as needed.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Google's Data Center, Compliance, Strategy and Risk Management team (CSRM) is a dedicated organization chartered with protecting the people and assets of Google’s global critical infrastructure.

The Compliance, Audit, and Policy (CAP) teams mission is to strategically enable business outcomes by delivering industry-leading compliance at scale for Google’s technical infrastructure. You will work in a Line of Defense (LOD) 1 role working closely with data centers teams as well as partners in other organizations such as sales, internal audit, and legal.

In this role, you will help develop a culture where security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop industry leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of onsite audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) and prepare internal teams for upcoming compliance evaluations.
  • Drive tactical and strategic development of data center compliance programs by optimizing, creating, or deprecating processes to enhance organizational auditability.
  • Assess control effectiveness and document infrastructure-specific requirements to ensure seamless alignment with global regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design and implement remediation plans for identified risks, verifying gap closures through follow-up testing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management and industry best practices, guiding teams on control implementation and security frameworks.
