Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, and risk management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in CISSP, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, or related information security certifications.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in information security and compliance, consulting, and risk management.
  • Experience with ISO 27001, SOC reports, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), or equivalent information security and privacy compliance certifications.
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing requirements.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The team is a well established team that has been enabling and delivering compliance certifications for Google Cloud for over 6 years. Compliance certifications are table stakes for most of our customers and our work unblocks business opportunities worldwide, as well as help us identify areas of risk.Achieving and maintaining these certifications requires year round efforts, and we have to keep up with Cloud's constant geo expansion and product launches.

In this role, you will be exposed to Google's well established tech stack, as well as newer technologies and unique product offerings.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain compliance certifications that are business critical. In this role, you will be working with a wide variety of product verticals, infrastructures, and solutions to increase the excellence of the compliance controls that support these certifications.
  • Leverage security audit and compliance experience, work on preparing for, and facilitating audits to achieve new and maintain existing compliance certifications. Become a subject matter expert in various directives (e.g., ISO 27001, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP), as well as suitably versed in all compliance domains (e.g., Identity and Access Management (IAM) , Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Networking).
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, planning and delivering compliance certifications, while also to establishing plans of action to deliver on improvements that directly enhance our compliance commitments.
