  • Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with data center, networking, network planning and enterprise operations.
  • Experience and enthusiasm with data science or data analytics (e.g., reporting, analysis, dashboards, and scripting using SQL or similar technologies).
  • Expertise and enthusiasm for growth within the enterprise networking space.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior internal stakeholders on high visibility projects across different functions and geographies to manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing deployment programs while working with partner groups to create and achieve strategic business goals. You will be responsible for the organization and the overall team, and will establish clear roles and responsibilities, regional and global management of capacity deliverables, plan of records, and schedules across the global network delivery organization to meet Google’s needs. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create multi-year metro or region level network strategies to provide resilient connectivity meeting technical, operational, and commercial requirements while balancing performance and cost.
  • Evaluate alternatives and develop cost estimates for project-specific feasibility studies by preparing drawings, maps, scopes of work, and other materials as needed to clearly describe projects to external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and present business cases for long-term investments in network and infrastructure, following industry best practices for end-to-end management of multi-functional technical projects and programs.
  • Execute agreements for metro-ethernet, internet, dark fiber, and wavelength services under existing master agreements, and drive effective organizational change to ensure lasting benefits.
  • Develop relationships and drive delivery with internal stakeholders and external vendors specializing in Deploy, Network Engineering, Service Delivery, Production, and Operations.
