Senior UX Program Manager, Sports

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in program management within design or UX organizations.
  • Experience with UX related projects and UX design, user research, or user centered development tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working across functions and disciplines, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and building relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the product development life-cycle.
  • Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive strategy.
  • Experience working with UX teams and partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams in highly dynamic/fast paced environments.
  • Demonstrated and experienced program management skills, with the ability to lead complex operational initiatives.
  • Ability to operationalize programs from 0 to 1, takes initiative and develops in ambiguity.

UX Programs & Operations drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user-centered development. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to create industry-leading products based on user insights.

As a UX Program Manager, you will combine expert project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions. Your role is to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure deadlines are met. You will harmonize the work of various UX disciplines and cross-functional partners to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and define UX operational processes for the Sports vertical to improve team efficiency and craft quality, ensuring clear prioritization, smooth transitions between project phases, and coordinating necessary resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee UX programs from initiation through to completion, ensuring all initiatives align with broader organizational goals.
  • Provide clear communication to executive leadership and stakeholders regarding operational status, risks, and priorities.
  • Serve as a central collaborator, connecting UX with engineering and product management partners to build strong relationships, manage expectations and make sure interdependencies are understood and planned for.
  • Identify and address blockers, whether they relate to design workflows or operational inefficiencies, to maintain momentum in an ambiguous environment and advocate user-centered approaches across all disciplines, continuously seeking ways to elevate the craft and impact of the UX team within the Sports ecosystem.
