Data Transformation Lead, Consumer Packaged Goods

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in data-driven marketing, advertising technologies and business analytics tools.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or customers in a consulting/sales capacity.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Google products (e.g. Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Ads Data Hub or Google Cloud) and familiar with big data and data warehouses.
  • Experience working with partners to identify technical issues and opportunities, selling AdTech and MarTech solutions, and leading project planning.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive clients, including verbal and visual presentations.
  • Ability to work with sales and cross-functional teams and influence key executive stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with effective time-management, prioritization skills, verbal and written presentation skills.

As a part of the Data Transformation Lead (DTL) role, you will drive the adoption, acquisition, and maturity of Google's data and infrastructure solutions for leading global CPG advertisers (P&G, McDonald's and Coca-Cola). In this role, you will be a highly curious, inventive, and collaborative leader who expertly guides clients in harnessing their data during this pivotal transformation era, positioning Google as the AI for Marketing partner of choice in a privacy-first environment. Global marketing done right is becoming more challenging due to fast-changing consumer expectations, changes in individual market landscapes, and the rate of technological change. At its core, Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) helps leading brands, trade bodies and marketing partners navigate this complexity so that they can continue to be the market makers who positively shape our industry. Everyday, we help our partners fully utilize Google’s products, talent and insights to advance their marketing performance and the advertising ecosystem at large. Whether through building stronger tech and media foundations, surfacing cutting edge insights or structuring industry dialogue, GCAS helps shape what’s next into now.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of Google solutions by identifying and vetting clients for potential projects that improve data maturity and enable cross-functional initiatives to expand AI-powered marketing solutions.
  • Lead the full business cycle, from discussion and selling to implementation and scaling of Google's first-party data-fueled data foundation.
  • Build and foster executive relationships with global client decision makers, and agency and technology partners, managing end-to-end customer relationships for their technology and data needs while educating clients on our various data and technology product offerings.
  • Design overall data and technology transformation strategy, pitching benefits of adopting Google's platforms and products.
  • Oversee global co-ordination across different internal Google teams as well as external stakeholders (clients, partners) working closely with partner organizations to provide continued support for client engagements.
