Field Sales Representative, Media and Entertainment, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a quota carrying technology field sales professional in direct client sales/management for enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, and developing and landing go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience managing sales opportunities in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and bring in and provide resources and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud and IT technology space.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will promote to our top enterprise accounts in the Media and Entertainment industry. You’ll leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships and act as a trusted business partner to understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will advocate for the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with enterprise customers in Media and Entertainment. Influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Negotiate and manage entire complex business-cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers, and Google Partners.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and competitive landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
