Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience building software for security.

Storage Intelligence Agents aims to leverage AI (Agentic AI Workflows and more) and an understanding of Google Cloud storage to efficiently manage billions of objects in an entire organization. You will partner with multiple teams to provide a consistent, seamless and goal-oriented experience for users to help operators successfully manage their cloud environment. You will drive key aspects of delivering a AI experience to customers including but not limited to service excellence, accuracy, and consistency.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
- Own key architectural decisions and drive the roadmap for Agentic AI and Autonomous Storage, ensuring all GenAI initiatives meet rigorous accuracy and security standards.
- Ensure services are scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant by adhering to Google’s core principles for infrastructure, security, and automated deployment processes.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence by providing technical guidance, coaching junior engineers, and establishing robust software development best practices.
- Partner with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and other Google Customer Solutions (GCS) service teams to translate customer needs into technical roadmaps and drive seamless cross-functional execution through consensus building.
- Lead on-call responsibilities and manage service rollouts to guarantee that production systems consistently meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and performance targets.
