Head of Creator and Music Product Activations, Go-to-Market

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of leadership experience in a technology or media company.
  • Experience in project management, relationship management, and change management.
  • Experience in consumer internet and e-commerce.
  • Experience executing strategic and operational initiatives and ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence by presenting data/conclusions in a compelling way, and structure business cases for executive leadership.
  • Excellent problem solving and investigative skills, with effective business acumen.

About the job

The YouTube Business EMEA Regional Go-to-Market (GTM) team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy and operations for EMEA market (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

In this role, you will be a key partner to YouTube EMEA Partnerships teams and leadership, helping them to bring our Creator, Emerging Experiences and Community, and Shopping products to market, and an advocate for partners helping to bring their feedback to product teams to ensure it meets the needs of all of our creators and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Activation Managers to drive the product go-to-market strategy in EMEA for three key verticals/products: Creator, Shopping and Emerging Products and Communities.
  • Provide strategic insight, understanding and leadership for region specific GTM initiatives focused on challenges and opportunities for the areas of responsibility.
  • Work with internal stakeholders cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet our business objectives and product adoption goals.
  • Maintain an external market perspective and form an expert opinion on trends, industry challenges, and evolving market needs across the region.
  • Maintain strong relations and collaborate with the global/Americas/EMEA Product Activation counterparts.
