Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in spares planning.
  • Experience in supply/demand planning within a data center or manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Knowledge in or experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of sales and operations planning processes, with experience in development and implementation of planning systems and processes.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous/unstructured environment.
  • Ability to take existing systems and process and drive/suggest optimizations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Equipment Supply Chain Spares team is focused on the sourcing, planning, positioning, and delivery of critical spares to meet maintenance and repair needs for Google Cloud's data center buildings infrastructure. The team is responsible for identifying, sourcing, planning, and positioning parts to serve the data centers. As a Spares Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring supply chain spares readiness for data centers, with specific attention to process optimization, stakeholder management, demand planning, supply planning, and procurement operations. This includes managing supply chain risks, communicating supply status, and engaging cross-functionally to establish processes in a growing space. Projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and you will be responsible for keeping everyone coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new processes centered around: demand planning, supply planning and risk mitigation, procurement operations.
  • Drive supply chain readiness across all data center equipment spares parts.
  • Partner cross-functionally across stakeholders and upstream teams to drive clarity, develop tools (e.g., dashboards) and processes, to streamline demand signals and communicate status/risks.
  • Influence upstream partners and stakeholders to integrate NPI products and their spares into the spares supply chain ecosystem.
  • Drive spare parts movement throughout the logistics network to position spares where they are needed, ahead of when they are needed.
