Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java or Python or C++).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience in developing backend services or fullstack applications.
- Experience in developing infrastructure and tools to streamline and scale operational workflow and experience in applying AI/ML in test automation or data analytics use cases.
- Understanding of device ecosystems and products such as Android and Pixel.
- Ability to anticipate and manage challenges and obstacles and ability in navigating technical and product issues and dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to work in a fluid and time sensitive environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and design platform and application features that enable developers, test engineers, and management teams to streamline, scale, and optimize test automation across teams and Product Areas.
- Develop and design a user-friendly and flexible on-demand application to expand testing operations.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance test automation, improve test effectiveness, and develop tools that enhance developer and test engineer productivity and experience.
- Take responsibility for developing and maintaining upstream engineering tests for a wide range of Pixel features.
- Collaborate with Android/Pixel developers, test teams, and other relevant teams to identify and resolve production quality and coverage issues. Implement improvements through enhanced development, testing practices, and processes.
