Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, creator-services (or other creator-driven industries), creator commerce industries or a related role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the creator economy, video, media or entertainment industry with an understanding of the creator landscape.
  • Ability to analyze data to create insights that are actionable for external partners.
  • Excellent presence with the ability to work well with senior executives and align cross-functional stakeholders around common goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport with external partners.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills, strong attention to detail and proven track record of proactively improving processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation of small and large events, writing and delivery.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Manager at YouTube working with Creator Service Providers in our Creator Economy Ecosystem team, you'll work at scale with some of the most influential companies in the creator economy.

In this role, you will drive meaningful product adoption, partner growth and foster a healthy ecosystem. You will manage day-to-day operations with partners, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and analyzing data to proactively identify opportunities to grow your partners’ businesses on the platform. This dynamic, cross-functional role empowers you to also work on initiatives to enhance the creator economy ecosystem more broadly.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Negotiate agreements and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive results for service providers and YouTube. Identify and develop new business opportunities that expand the creator economy ecosystem and benefit both partners and the platform.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
  • Produce analyses and recommendations to optimize performance as part of a regular review cycle with managed partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, across Product, Sales, Marketing, Policy, Comms, Finance and Legal to bring the right solutions to key partners.
  • Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to grow and enhance the overall creator service provider ecosystem.
