Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in display optics, CMOS image sensors, or optical metrology in a mass-production setting.
- Experience with optical equipment and data analysis/SPC using tools like JMP or Python.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with advanced display technologies (OLED, MicroLED, AR/VR optics) and compound semiconductor (GaN/GaAs) testing.
- Experience scripting in Python for test automation or data parsing.
- Experience as a resident engineer or site lead at a major global Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT).
- Understanding of LED or optoelectronic device operation, and strong grasp of color science and photometry.
- Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) integration or high-speed probe cards.

- Lead installation, qualification, and maintenance of optical metrology systems on the testers at the Contract Manufacturer (CM) site.
- Own the health and calibration of all optical test setups, executing Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R ) studies to validate performance before production release.
- Serve as the first line of defense to diagnose and resolve hardware-related optical test issues, driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production stops.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis to proactively monitor tester performance and correlate test results with manufacturing variables.
