  • Experience with test infrastructure development, supporting software system launch and ongoing development.
  • Ability to have a strong sense of product quality, system software and handle large-scale software release.
  • Ability to explore and propose technical solutions to address complex validation challenges, particularly in large-scale AI/ML infrastructure environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, consulting and organizational skills.

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will be Involved in the software release and qualification plan to roll out new features and fixes to the production fleet on time. You will be qualifying the software bundles to capture quality issues, develop test profiles to guarantee sufficient test coverage, build and improve the infrastructure to support software qualification and releases, consolidate and streamline the tools, qualification. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve software problems, adopt AI technology (e.g., Gemini) to increase test engineering productivity and enable a data-driven problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test workflows and system-level test cases for Platforms system software bundle quality.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize test plans to validate Platforms system software bundle releases, and ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Debug, triage, and resolve issues uncovered through automated and manual testing, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive fixes and improvements.
  • Design, implement and maintain the software test infrastructure to support Platforms system software qualification and releases.
  • Explore and propose technical solutions to address complex validation challenges and improve test efficiency.
