Field Sales Account Manager, Channel Sales and Activation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with executives, and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in hardware go-to-market sales within retail, carrier, and distribution channels.
  • Experience in forecasting and consultative selling.
  • Knowledge of carrier channels, economics, incentives, and operational dynamics.
  • Understanding of consumer electronics sales channels and retail dynamics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive multi-faceted projects.

About the job

Our team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers, and promoters. The Pixel Mobile Products team includes the partnerships for products such as Pixel, Pixel Watch, Tablet and Buds. As Field Sales Account Manager for Channel Sales and Activation, you will drive promotions of consumer hardware products through carrier partners in the United States.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$206,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead programs to launch and drive national promotions across retail, indirect, call centers, SMB, and online through enhancing knowledge, advocacy, and execution in stores.
  • Provide support to customers who engage with Google’s products or carrier sales representatives in all channels of partners, and ensure they have the opportunity to experience Google’s ecosystem, hardware, software, and services.
  • Optimize vendor field sales coverage model and support programs to maximize impact and spend productivity.
