  • Ability to travel for client meetings and training, as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with A/B testing and other methods for measuring creative effectiveness.
  • Experience establishing and advancing priorities, balancing needs of Google Product Areas, the business organization, and customers.
  • Experience in identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve creative strategy, driving customer impact, and influencing executive leadership on the value of creative effectiveness.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and understanding of evolving industry trends to identify and capitalize on creative opportunities.
  • Understanding of audience insights, platform trends, and performance data.

About the job

As a Creative Lead, you will help brands use data and insights to create effective, innovative ideas for YouTube and Google platforms. You will be working with Creative Business Partners (CBPs) to find and activate creative opportunities with major United States (US) video clients and their agencies. You will identify and deliver creative opportunities for account and agreement activation, and strategizing creative solutions to meet sector objectives for engagement, activation, and impact. You will drive significant impact within Google and across the advertising landscape.

In this role, you will drive positive change and measurable results. You will be a proactive, creative seller who can engage with C-suite executives and practitioner-level clients, guiding them to embrace creative recommendations and maximize campaign potential. You will advise clients at all levels, influencing their creative strategy and securing commitment to new marketing behaviors on our platform. You will proactively identify creative growth areas, transforming insights into client successes by analyzing campaigns and strategies for enhancement. You will be adept in YouTube culture and translate insights into action and will collaborate with creative/content specialists, Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams, third-party marketing platforms, and external client stakeholders to foster partnerships. You will advocate continuous improvement by building feedback loops with all partners, ensuring creative effectiveness knowledge and thought leadership are understood, applied, and sustained.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Guide clients in leveraging YouTube's unique creative canvas, including trends, audience insights, creators, and cultural moments.
  • Leverage effectiveness tools like YouTube Analytics, Brand Lift, and Third-Party platforms to uncover user behavior and insights, then translate these into concrete creative recommendations for ads that can drive Return on Investment (ROI) for our clients.
  • Leverage insights tools like Insights Finder, Google Trends to help connect brands to culture on YouTube, and identify creative sparks. Based on data analysis, offer insights, creative ideas, and feedback on storyboards, rough cuts, and existing spots.
  • Guide and report on testing and Video Experiments throughout the pre-launch, in-market, and post-campaign phases.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and execute scalable opportunities and programs, surface relevant creative effectiveness case studies, and understand service opportunities and gaps.
