Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in social marketing.
  • 1 year of experience in people management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in making an impact in highly cross-functional teams spanning product, PR, policy, legal, marketing and more.
  • Experience in managing creative, media and digital agencies to develop engaging content.
  • Experience in delivering quality output with tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with Sprinklr and AirTable.
  • Ability to be self-initiate, comfortable with ambiguity and self-directing their projects in an unstructured environment.

Google’s goal for Gemini is to be the most helpful AI assistant by giving users direct access to Google’s latest AI models and capabilities. The Gemini App Marketing team plays a critical role in this mission, and is a changing and dynamic team that is responsible for driving and delivering on aspiring strategic business goals.

Google is looking for someone to set the launch strategy and content plan for our Gemini app social channels. This role has the opportunity to partner with senior AI leadership to bring a vision and strategy to life.

In this role, you will need to be an exceptional strategic thinker who is savvy about social media, understands how consumers engage with us across social platforms, and is willing to innovate and think differently to drive mindshare for our products. You will work with teams and collaborate cross-functionally with key leaders across marketing, product and brand social to solve our toughest tests, drive success on social and operate with impact.

You will possess strong business strategy and operational expertise as well as business acumen and exceptional people skills, with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all levels.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and uphold the social strategy across our Gemini app social channels.
  • Create a content strategies or plans.
  • Consult on content creation and community management.
  • Partner with measurement team to understand performance of channels and provide recommendations for optimization.
