Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience interfacing directly with labels, artists, managers, or digital platforms mainly in Brazil's music industry, artists, managers, labels and the digital music space.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Music industry, with understanding of how the industry operates, key players, and where YouTube sits in this ecosystem.
- Understanding of YouTube’s current efforts in music, its trajectory within the industry.
- Ability to drive new partnerships, promote new business opportunities to existing partners, and ensure prompt and proper resolution of business issues raised by partners.
- Ability to cultivate skills in analytics, basic modeling and formal corporate presentations and analyzing data, coordinating internal events, speaking to partners, or negotiating agreements.
- Ability to think and to develop a goal and a strategy.
About the job
The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives the partner strategy and manages key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.
As a Strategic Partner Manager you will be responsible for managing YouTube’s relationship emerging and established artists across Brazil. You will work both as external (partner-facing) and internal with many cross-functional initiatives to balance business development and operations at scale. You will work to identify and engage with a dynamic set of artists, promoting initiatives to drive partner satisfaction and results, and optimizing partner performance on the platform. You will posses ability and demonstrated history of cultivating relationships in the music industry, in tandem with a strong understanding of trends in the market and driving results on digital platforms.

Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for Artists on the YouTube platform while delivering exceptional service to artists and their teams.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of emerging and established artists, driving initiatives, platform optimization and best practices, and engagement and product activation.
- Design, develop and launch music initiatives in the region.
- Establish a good working relationship with our cross-functional music teams in Partnerships, Global Scaled Services, Business, Product Solutions, Marketing, Public Relations and Product, serving as a music consultant as needed.
- Identify key metrics to evaluate data both quantitatively and qualitatively. Streamline operational workflow by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
