Senior Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber security or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with network topology and common security controls.
  • 5 years of experience in information security or infrastructure engineering.
  • 5 years of experience with disaster recovery architecture and backup technology.
  • 5 years of experience with on-premise active directory, enterprise architecture and cloud architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in On-premises or Cloud Platforms.
  • Experience with incident response remediation.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and backup architectures.
  • Experience in incident response remediation or disaster recovery.
  • Ability to communicate remediation recommendations and strategies to technical staff, executive leadership, legal counsel, and internal and external clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

About the job

In this role, you will lead, coordinate, and conduct technical security assessments across enterprise environments, covering both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. You will assist clients by designing and implementing architecture enhancements, strengthening security configurations, identity protections, and securing workflows to deploy appropriate countermeasures against modern threats. You will build scripts, tools, or methodologies that enhance assessment processes for both on-premise Active Directory and cloud platforms. You will be developing and presenting comprehensive reports and presentations, communicating strategies and roadmap initiatives to client stakeholders, including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and conduct technical security assessments for cloud-based security infrastructures and platforms.
  • Assist clients with designing and implementing architecture enhancements, security configurations, identity protections, cloud workflows, and appropriate countermeasures to defend against threats and attacker techniques.
  • Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance Mandiant's on-premise Active Directory or Cloud Assessment processes.
  • Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, training, and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences. Communicate strategies and roadmap initiatives to client stakeholders including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel.
