Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in partner management, a partner-facing role within Education, Media or similar.
  • 5 years of experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the online, video or media industry.
  • Experience in project management with an ability to deliver across a variety of teams.
  • Knowledge in developing access to educational opportunities.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google and to operate with high energy and flexibility in a changing, constantly-evolving team environment.
  • Excellent operations and people management skills with an ability to build, motivate and mentor others.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Learning is an important area for YouTube and Google. As Head of YouTube Learning Partnerships, you will report to the Managing Director, Global Head of Youth and Learning and oversee all efforts to develop this use case on the platform and across Google efforts. You will be responsible for developing a strategy and the tactical execution to take our Learning business to the next level.


In this role you will own and be accountable for the success of YouTube’s Learning Partnerships team by. You will build operational and analytical excellence across YouTube business goals, cultivating expertise and best practices, unblocking team members, and resolving escalations. You will mobilize cohesive insights on the creator funnel, journey, and needs in the market through management of large partners in the Learning ecosystem. You will act as peer to the most influential leading creators and Media CEOs and being sought out for their engagement and thought leadership.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Strategic Partner Managers (SPM) supporting YouTube creators and partners in the learning content vertical.
  • Develop the global strategy for learning initiatives, including visioning,  execution, tracking, measuring, and analyzing overall performance against key metrics.
  • Drive the large partners portfolio towards performance goals, including adoption of new products and features, maximizing watch time hours, audience growth, community engagement and holistic business growth expansion through on and off platform business generation opportunities.
  • Lead team and cross-functional projects, structure and execute analyses required to develop recommendations, streamline operational workflows and process improvements, participate in early discussions to scope new projects.
